ŁH: Metropolis, agglomeration, conurbation, megalopolis are all deeply understood only by a narrow group of experts. For other people it’s all the same: a group of busy cities, with no air to breath, where noise and disorder are on a regular basis. Simply, there’s always something going on.

KM: New York, London, Tokyo, but also Warsaw and  our own Metropolis GZM, and finally, my beloved creature – the slowly arising connection of Katowice and Krakow, also known as Krakowice. When you think about it, it’s actually hard to figure out what a metropolis actually is.

Everybody knows what happens after a good lecture or presentation – informal chatting, networking and meeting new, interesting people, all in a casual atmosphere. Urban drink is exactly that – an opportunity to talk freely about serious urban issues, in this case all the faces and aspects of what makes a metropolis. It’s also a great chance to create new partnerships and develop innovative ideas.
